Getting Started

Using rough cut materials helps cut down on cost. Staining the interior before assembly makes things a lot easier.

Build a box

Adding separator to the shelves and then add box around, leaving the bottom open

Adding Unecessary TRIM DETAL 

Add contrasting trim

The black stain on the outside contrasting the warm brown inside was inspired by a bookcase at Magnolia Home.

Testing out the peg Spacing 

Add the pegs

The pegs allow boots to be hung upside down to dry, while still allowing taller boots to be tucket into the bottom of the shelf. 

Cut Old SHOE MATS

Technically I could have bought new ones, but instead I cut up two shoe mats so they can overlap.
