Hey, I’m Ben.

I design stuff. I build things. I take mediocre pictures of those projects and then write words that sometimes make me laugh really hard.

Tree Farm Design Co. is a blog dedicated to practical home improvement and homesteading projects. The work here is motivated by a desire to live a quiet life, working with our hands while expressing a God given creative spirit. The hope is to help others looking for ideas and inspiration and maybe crack a joke or two along the way.

My projects center around my life here in Upstate NY with my lovely creative wife, our five homeschooled children and a smattering of farm animals. We currently have a couple sheep and chickens, so many chickens.
